Izzie glared at him. It was another one of those days. Sadly enough, although it was a different confrontation between the two, it always seemed to end the same.

“Screw you Mark.”

Mark cocked an eyebrow. “You’d like to do that now wouldn’t you?”

“No. That’d be you.” Izzie said crossing her arms over her chest.

Mark gave her a glare of his own. “And here I thought you were sweet.” He said sarcastically.

“I am. Just not to you.” Izzie gave him such a sweet smile that it made him almost want to vomit.

Mark was about to respond when he noticed that her eyes were staring intently toward him, dragging his memory to a night less than three weeks ago.

“I still hate you.” Izzie said breathlessly as he pinned her against the wall of his hotel room.

Mark smirked. “Right back at you.” He nipped lightly on her left earlobe with his teeth. “Besides, it is only a one time deal. Right?” He traced his tongue down her neck.

Izzie felt as if she were in some sort of sexual fantasy. It’s not like this was obvious to happen. One minute they were arguing at Joe’s, and the next… Well, here they were.

“Absolutely.” The word coming out in separate syllables as she spoke.

Mark brought his head up to face her. He met her eyes with that intense look. That intense stare. The one she wore whenever their argument was coming to an end. This time there was a spark. It was different.

As her lips crashed back onto his, he realized that maybe he kind of liked different. Kind of.

And just as they agreed, it was only that one time. The thought of secluding her in a corner at the peak of their arguments had gotten to be tempting though. As much as he wanted her to screw off, he couldn’t help but was to screw her all the while.

“Just get your ass away from me and we will have no further problems.” Mark said like she should have known that argument solver all along.

Izzie scoffed. “You just want to look at it while I walk away.”

“You rather I walk away?” Mark asked. “Fine. I’ll go. Beats listening to you annoyingly talk all day.” He turned around and started to walk away.

Izzie rolled her eyes when she heard the next thing he called back to her.

“Don’t stare at my ass Stevens! It goes both ways!” Mark said, a smirk appearing on his face.

He liked different, kind of.
